The apple cider sauce on these simple baked chicken wings makes them the coziest fall dinner.
INGREDIENTS

– 2 ½ lbs. chicken wings– 1 Tbsp baking powder– ½ tsp paprika– ½ tsp garlic powder– ¾ tsp salt, divided– ¾ tsp pepper, divided– 2 cups apple cider– ¼ cup apple cider vinegar– 2 Tbsp honey– ¼ tsp cinnamon– Apple slices, for garnish– Chopped chives or scallions, for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
Bake at 450°F with foil-lined baking sheet and wire rack. Spray rack lightly with cooking spray.

Step 1
Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels. Put in big bowl.In a small bowl, combine baking powder, paprika, ½ tsp salt, and ½ tsp pepper.

Coat chicken wings with baking powder.Leave space between wings on wire rack. Bake 30 minutes.

Remove wings from oven and flip with tongs. Heat oven for 15-20 minutes more to brown and crisp wings.

While wings bake, heat apple cider, vinegar, and honey in a medium saucepan on medium-high.

Stir in cinnamon, remaining ¼ tsp salt, and ¼ tsp pepper, then boil. Once boiling, reduce heat and simmer 25 minutes to thicken sauce.
