These easy little smokies are wrapped in bacon and have a sweet and hot bite to them created by the brown sugar and cayenne pepper.

– ¾ cup brown sugar– 1 teaspoon ground cayenne– ½ teaspoon ground black pepper– 12 ounces sliced bacon– 1 package beef cocktail wieners (Little Smokies) 14 ounce

INSTRUCTION
Preheat the oven to 325°F. Wrap a rimmed baking sheet in foil or paper.In a large bowl, combine brown sugar, cayenne, and black pepper.

Step 1
Each bacon slice is split into three equal pieces. Set the pieces in the bowl.Toss bacon in sugar mixture with tongs or hands until coated.

Step 2
Attach coated bacon to cocktail wieners with toothpicks. Continue on the lined baking sheet until all bacon is utilized.Bake 40 minutes until bacon crisps and sugar bubbles. Keep warm in a slow cooker or serve immediately.
