Pumpkin Roll Recipe

This Homemade Pumpkin Roll is simple to make, has just the right amount of spices, and is filled with a simple cream cheese frosting. This dessert is great for fall!

– 1/4 cup (30 grams) powdered sugar (use more or less as needed) – 1/2 cup (100 grams) light brown sugar , packed – 1/2 cup (100 grams) granulated sugar – 3 large egg – 2/3 cup (160 grams) pumpkin puree – 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract – 3/4 cup (95 grams) all-purpose flour spoon & leveled – 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice – 1/2 teaspoon baking powder – 1/2 teaspoon baking soda – 1/4 teaspoon salt

Direction

Heat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Set aside a 10x15 jelly roll pan with parchment paper on the bottom and nonstick cooking spray on the sides. Dust powdered sugar on a clean kitchen towel.

Step 1

Mix the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and eggs in a large bowl for 30 seconds to 1 minute using a handheld mixer or whisk. Add pumpkin puree and vanilla.

Step 2

Mix flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, soda, and salt in another bowl. Just mix the dry and wet components. Evenly pour batter into pan.

Step 3

Bake 12-15 minutes at 375°F (190°C) until the top is set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cake from pan. Cake parchment to towel.
