1 ⅔ cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
8 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
¼ cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
½ cup mayonnaise
1 ½ cup shredded apples
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Heat the oven to 350 F. Prepare a loaf pan with cooking spray. Set aside. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.

Mix melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and mayonnaise in a large bowl.

Morone recommends storing leftovers in an airtight container or zip-top bag for three days.

The flour mixture should be mixed in until it is completely incorporated. At this point, the batter will have a fairly thick consistency.

The shredded apples and cheese should be added, and the mixture should be thoroughly mixed.

Bake the loaf for 30–35 minutes in the preheated oven until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
