Soft And Chewy Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe
These soft and chewy Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies are full of oats and chocolate chips. The cookies are delicious and easy to make!
INGREDIENTS
– 1 cup (125 grams) all-purpose flour (spooned & leveled)– ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon– ½ teaspoon baking soda– ¼ teaspoon salt– 1 and ½ cups (150 grams) old-fashioned rolled oat– ½ cup (115 grams) unsalted butter softened– ½ cup (100 grams) light brown sugar packed– ¼ cup (50 grams) granulated sugar– 1 large egg room temperature– 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract– 1 cup (190 grams) semisweet chocolate chip
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl. Add old-fashioned rolled oats and reserve. Mix the butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a stand mixer with the paddle attachment or a large bowl with a handheld mixer for 1-2 minutes.

Scrape bowl sides as you add egg and vanilla extract. Mix the dry ingredients on low speed until just combined, then add the chocolate chips and mix until fully incorporated into the cookie dough. Keep tightly covered in fridge for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C). Set aside two large parchment or silicone-matted baking sheets. Place 1.5 tablespoon cookie scoops of dough on prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each. Flatten cookie dough balls by pressing slightly.

The cookies should be set after 10-13 minutes at 350°F (177°C). Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for 5-10 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to finish cooling.
