An easy 10-minute homemade hot chocolate recipe. So tasty, you'll never buy store-bought packages again!
INGREDIENTS
SERVINGS: 4 SERVINGS– 4 cups (960 ml) milk– 1/4 cup (22 grams) cocoa powder– 1/2 cup (100 grams) granulated sugar– 1/2 of a 1.55 oz. milk chocolate bar (I used Hershey's)– Pinch of salt– Splash of vanilla extract (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS
Heating a large saucepan on medium-high. A small bowl should contain cocoa powder, granulated sugar, and salt.

Step 1
Add sugar, cocoa powder, and 1 cup milk to the sauce pan. Whisk until lump-free. Whisk in remaining milk. Warm chocolate mixture should not boil.

Step 2
Remove the hot chocolate from heat and add ½ of a milk chocolate bar. Melt chocolate. Add vanilla if desired. Pour hot chocolate into mugs and enjoy!
